1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MegVitra ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MegVitra. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following notification of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

MegVitra is a digital health information platform that provides users with educational tools to better understand their personal health documents. The Service is offered as a supplementary informational resource to support health literacy.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To access the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information;
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials;
• Not permit any third party to access your account without authorization.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Dependent and Family Access: Subject to applicable subscription terms, account holders may authorize access for dependent family members. The primary account holder accepts full responsibility for all activity associated with any authorized accounts.

4. Your Health Data and Content

Ownership: You retain full ownership of all personal health documents and data you submit to the Service ("Your Content").

License to Process: By submitting Your Content, you grant MegVitra a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process, store, and use Your Content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

Improvement of Service: We may use anonymized, aggregated, and de-identified data to improve service quality and accuracy. You may withdraw consent to this use at any time through your account settings without affecting your access to core features.

We will never sell, rent, or commercially exploit your personal or health information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
• Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or fraudulent;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure;
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service;
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Service content without prior written permission;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MegVitra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any health decisions made in reliance on information provided through the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and underlying technology, are owned by or licensed to MegVitra. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service or its content.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without our prior written consent.

10. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, at our sole discretion, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain certain records.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The seat of arbitration shall be India.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
